No, we don't know what it is yet... oh yeah, forgot to mention, if you didn't know.  Maria's pregnant!  16 weeks!

Anyways, this post is really about the onesie that we'll be getting for the little one... no, no debate!

Look at those stats!!!!  They nailed it, no?  Str 3!!!!!  Cha 18!!!!!  How awesome is that!?

Okay, for those who do not appreciate the humor... it's a reference to Pen and Paper games like Dungeons and Dragons.

Str = Strengeth,
Int = Intelligence,
Wis = Wisdom,
Dex = Dexterity,
Con = Constitution,
Cha = Charisma
(all the above is typically on a 3-18 scale 18 being the bestest)

AC = Armor Class - (Protective Rating)
HP = Hit Points - (How much damage it can take)
Exp = Experience - (It's a noob, so it ain't got none!)

Maria's laughing quite hard at this, so you know the kid'll wear it a lot... :-D

She does say that it shouldn't advertise how physically weak it is, but then I point out that it has max Charisma!

When we were little the one rule regarding food in our house is that we at least had to always try the food out. Our parents would persist in begging us until we finally would.

When we'd go to Vegas, we'd always eat at the nicest restaurant at the Union Plaza(my Dad's friend from HS was the hotel manager or something). There, at around 5 I got to try escargot for the first time and loved it.

My brother managed to hold out a few more visits before he tried it and became a bigger fan than myself. So Mom, on our birthday's would end up almost always making them.

While she's not the most amazing cook normally(she's good), when it comes to French Food she's amazing(how, we've no idea since there's no French link that we know of). Still to this day, only place you can find Escargot as nice as hers is in France itself. (I still think hers is better)

(If you get a chance to cajole her into it, get her to make a dish with her Bernaise sauce, you will not regret it because you will have tasted a piece of Heaven.)

On a cruise ship one time, at one meal, my brother had 10 plates of Escargot, my Dad 5, and myself 3.

So GO S-CAR GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I had your mom's escargot once. I forgot the occasion, but I remember my mom and your mom talking about the different ways they prepare it. My mom's shells are all cracking so I'm getting her a new set for Christmas (good thing she doesn't read this or there goes the surprise).

Our baby was mega escargot-fed on this last trip to France - thank god it's not on any do-not-eat lists! I had it 3 days in a row at one point, mostly the usual Bourgogne style and once Normand style where it's broiled in a cream sauce and topped with slices of Camembert.
